thanks for your help on the link, have read through it ! however, I am unsure as to what they deem to be valid student cards. Is it only for students in France ? I am between 18 to 25 so no problems there, but I do not study in france. I can only present a singapore university student card. do you think that will be accepted ?

hey, no problem. I think the main thing is as long as you fall between 18-25 and you hold a valid student card it should be fine. The other time I went with my friend who wasn't a student in France but he had the student fare as well. Just show the local card. =)
And tell them over the counter that you want the student, 2 parks/1 day tix. That should do.
