Had half-boiled eggs and iced milo for breakfast, went back to mop the floor and some house-husbanding chores... and at 2.30pm, started my long day.
Headed to the gym for some exercises with my sister's fiance.
First did Squats, 3 sets of 10reps of 50kg, with an additional drop set being 3reps of 60kg, 5reps of 50kg, 7reps of 40kg and 10reps of 30kg.
Moved onto lunges with barbell overhead, 3sets of 10reps per leg.
Next, Hamstring exercise which I couldn't really get the hang of. Needs serious work there. Ahem.
Did with the machine instead and slightly better:
3 sets of 10reps per leg. Weight 4kg. With the last set being 3reps of 3kg, and 7reps of 2kg.
Next, it was chest exercises...
The lower chest, 3 sets of 10reps of 30kg.
Mid-chest, same.
Upper chest, same.
Lastly, was abs, with 2 sets of 30 reps of crunches, followed by 2 sets of (5 leg raise to the middle, 5 leg raises to the left, and 5 leg raises to the right... ) and then well, not too sure of how you would describe the exercise but straightening legs, and opening up a V and closing it for 5 reps at about 30cm off the ground, followed by 45°, 5reps. and 90° 5reps. followed by lifting butt up with sheer abs strength for 5reps.
That was it!
But I added a 10laps breast stroke after.
Went to had fish soup dinner at Tiong Bahru with a yoghurt dessert.
Reached home at 6pm and left to meet friend for swimming training at CCAB.
Swam a good 2km i guess?
Warm up of 300m close-fisted front crawl,
200m with pool buoy.
5 x 200m of which I did 4.
and lastly, 10 x 100m of which I did.... 4 also. hahaha simply too shag from the gym earlier on.
Now, I'm all ready for a good night's rest.
