This is the butt naked truth.

For 17 years of my life, I had been handicapped. I don't know how long more it will last - this handicap.

Well, most people would know that I'm close to being blind, except for those I only see out there without having to spend the night.

So in any case, I'm scheduled for my lasik surgery this 21-25th. (July) and well, hopefully I fit the criteria of undergoing such a surgery so I can then be freed from the hassles of spectacles and contact lenses... Imagine having to wake up and be greeted by clear vision.. Boy I cannot remember when the last time it happened. Neither do I have a memory of how clear the world looks like without any visual aids.

Hmmm, of course it will mean that spectacles will then be an accessory rather than an aid, a necessity.So here, kudos to my 17 years of spectacles for going through dirt, sweat, mud (especially during army), overseas trips, suffering fates such as falling from great heights to bear cracked lenses... well, the list goes on.

Maybe I won't have to take any more photos with spectacles on any more.
