Remember the days where you depend on someone to get the milo powder stored high up in the cabinets simply cos' you are not tall enough?
The days where you have the fear of losing that particular molar that is shaky at the back of your oral cavity.
The days where you feel like superman knocking your head all over the place (including that of your friend's).
The days where you sit at the school's bus bay waiting for that familiar face to pick you up.
The days where you feel like a king with all your friends and relatives standing around you pretending it's their birthday as well.
The days where the entire family and extended family and those who are not so extended but well, invitation was extended to them as well, sitting together eating a rather noisy dinner of which none of the conversation actually bothered you (provided you could understand what they were saying in the first place)
The days of simplicity where you literally walk to your neighbour's house to play with him. And back then, playing meant playing. unlike nowadays where the word 'play' has so many other unspoken meanings that I don't even want to think about.
The days where really, physically and literally, food is fed to your mouth.
The days where tv programmes were simple. Channel 5, channel 8. (at least for me)
The days where going out meant going downstairs / the nearest playground.
The days where 好朋友 meant it is (probably) going to last forever.
The days where the same toys could last you a lifetime (or well, a childhood time)
The days where you compare whose ruler is longer, whose pencil case is nicer and whose pens are more expensive yada yada...
Well, point is. I don't know where to go from here. Since there is nothing to fall back on as what's passed has gone by and never to come again.
Times have changed and certainly, changed for the uncertainty.
;)
哦,忘了在这里祝贺我的B2一个很快乐的生日!
