Random post on 27/06/08

It's been a long time since i felt so much time on my hands. Well, not that much actually given that in less than 90 minutes I have to leave for work. But what I mean is since the beginning of my holidays and well, end of my exams in mid-May, or some say late May (due to my French exam), I did not really have the 'free' time I have now.

so what have I been busy with? let me try to recall so you people out there feel a little more in sync with the holiday life of yours sincerely monsieur D here...

As far as I can think back, there was some tuition going on between my French exam and my first overseas trip to Bali, and that would be somewhere between 23/05/08 to 05/06/08... and that was enough to keep me busy given that I have my part timing to do at the restaurant as well.

Then I took a two week off part time work and went travelling to Bali (05-10/06/08) followed by Taipei (14-18/06/08)... upon returning, I have been busying myself with tuition (once again, no surprises) as well as my weekend trips to Sentosa for either frisbee throwing or bumming at KM8. Well, somehow or rather, my activities are kind of limited and my social circle seems to be narrowing down. But well, given that it's me, I can't be bothered to go out there to search for new people to have fun with. (hmmm, that sounds kind of wrong but then again, who gives a heck? nothing is morally right nowadays).

well, so today being the 27th June, I have been back and staying in Sunny Singapore for 9 days and till the end of the year. and it's the first time I am home waiting for time to pass so I can move my ass to start working. Don't get me mistaken, it is not raining out there and in fact, the sun is so at its zenith. Well, I just don't feel like squeezing a pool session between now and my work. Tempted but resisted... days with sun shining like this come by again, but perhaps not my freedom to choose..

hmm, or speaking about the sun, well of course I have given up on going to sleazy public pools where random strangers attempt to speak to you (or me in that matter), and had signed up for Safra membership. Hence, I had begun to enjoy my private moments at the nicely sheltered pool with clean toilets that come with overhead rain-shower heads. (i have no idea what the proper term is to refer to them). Yup, and of course having a cup of ice tea or silkyz barley at Ya Kun wouldn't hurt a little before making my way off to yet another destination.

Afterall, we do need to keep ourselves moving right?
