You know, somehow, sometimes in your life you sort of experience how some people just don't fit into some situations? Just the other day, under the scorching sun rays of Sentosa, I experienced just that.
I am sure most of you reading this would have been to Sentosa before. So, just picture the coconut trees, the numerous glistening bodies of volleyball players, the NUM ambassadors wanna-be, the Café del Mar babes-wanna-be, the very busy looking families searching high and low for the best spot under those coconut trees for picnic, the tourists that came from all over the world (literally) to look at the pink dolphins... Oh, now that we got to the elemals. oops.. animals i mean, why not take a short visit to the elephant sanctuary?...
Yes, that's exactly what I mean by the 'displaced personnels'. Elephants at Sentosa? Along the beach? No way. OOooohhh yes... definitely. Well, but to some, since it's rather subjective, it may be a hippo, it may be.. buffalo, but to me, it's definitely an elephant. Just bit short of a mammoth. Call me evil, call me sarcastic, anything but blind because I'm definitely not just that.
And in skimpy beach wear - read this... B.I.K.I.N.I. *Ouch*
Today, when I went back to Sentosa again, the image still haunts me. I salute your courage, and I salute you for the level of self-confidence you have in yourself. To dare to bare/bear your bod (or the lack of it) at a public location, well, such audacity. hahaha... no offence I hope. Well, I actually have a photo, but since it may be rather distasteful and repulsive, well, not to mention, law-breaking to infringe on privacy of others, I shall save us all the trouble.
The next time you head over to Sentosa, or even anywhere... do take a clearer look at those around you. You never know who you will see.
And for those who feel that you are out of place... advice is...don't do that again s'il vous plaît. For own's and other's sake. It's only better that way.
:)
